This short course facilitates the introduction of A-Level Film Studies as an academic but also production-based discipline to learners new to the subject. It also serves as an essential bridge for students who have completed GCSE Film Studies and will be embarking on an A-Level course of study. Core theoretical frameworks will be developed, but production skills will also be explored in preparation for NEA (coursework) for Eduqas and OCR qualifications. After this course, students going into their A-Levels will feel comfortable with engaging with Film Studies and will have learnt the basics at a more advanced level.
