For four years, I taught part-time at a first-class learning centre. I taught languages and sciences to primary school students on a one-on-one basis. During my Bachelor's degree, I had the privilege to do internships in schools (kindergarten and Primary), hospitals with children with disabilities, and Indigenous reserves. Finally, I am also a dance teacher. I currently teach adults mostly but have taught children back when I was staying in Colombia during my gap year.
I learned a lot through these experiences and am excited to continue growing as a teacher.
I was born and raised in Geneva, Switzerland, in a German American family. Native in three lnaguages (french, german and english), I had the chance to add Spanish to my repertoire as a fourth language in high school. I also worked part-time for a first-class learning centre in Geneva from 2014 to 2018, where I taught languages, mathematics and sciences to primary school students.
After High School, I moved to Toronto, Canada, where I completed my Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Development. We learned about various teaching methods, as well as analysed the physical, emotional and psychological development of children from birth to age 11.
In 2021, I took a year off to backpack across Latin America alone. I wanted to experience the challenges of travelling alone for such a long period of time and see what I could learn from it. I had the chance to meet amazing people, see wonderful places and perfect my Spanish even more. I finally moved to London in September 2022, where I completed my Master's degree in International Business.
As a professional dancer, I also started giving classes on the weekends and met the most incredible community! Overall, I am a bubbly person that enjoys sharing knowledge with children and their parents. I look forward to seeing children grow and achieve their goals, as well as develop a new set of skills!
