Teaching Experience

I have experience teaching privately. My work with these pupils was generally focused on core GCSE topics (maths, English). Among the topics for maths were basic algebra, geometry, probability and ratios.

I have also been involved with general admission preparation for university. This involved aiding A-level students with their application with tailored advice regarding personal statements.

About Angus I

I graduated from the University of Oxford and am now pursuing a career in law. Educating enables me to make a difference for students, improving both their knowledge as well as my own.

I was educated at Austin Friars, Cumbria, where I was head boy in my final year. At school, my interests included English, history, debating, rugby and tennis. Beyond the classroom, I played a lot of rugby and was passionate about music, particularly guitar.

After school, I read English literature at Oxford University. I found medieval English and literature during the interwar period (1918-1939) particularly interesting. I was an active member of various sport and charity groups alongside academic studies; this includes a full Blue in Rugby League.
