I started teaching in 2005 after a long and varied performing career. Teaching is my absolute passion, and over the years, this passion has brought me to work with multiple schools, colleges and academies, as a voice Educator, class teacher and workshop facilitator. I have taught singing to students of all ages and levels, from kindergarten to adult professionals. I have successfully prepared many students for their graded exams (100% success rate), auditions and performances.
Whatever the setting, I always strive to create a positive and encouraging learning environment, and I carefully tailor every lesson to reach every student and help them fulfil their potential.
I am a London based singing teacher and jazz singer. Born in Rome, I started my musical studies on piano at the age of ten. I then studied classical singing with the late Canadian soprano Marguerite Lavergne and contemporary singing at St Louis College of Music. I completed my vocal studies at Licinio Refice Music Conservatory (Italy), where I graduated in jazz.
Beginning my performing career in 1997, I have since then recorded three albums and involved myself in a multitude of musical projects, performing alongside many leading musicians on the Rome and London scene. In 2018, I was awarded a distinction for my PGCert in vocal pedagogy from Cardiff Metropolitan University, having the honour to present my research project on voice and posture at the 2018 Voice Geek Conference in Colchester alongside internationally renowned experts.
