About Rory M

I first started teaching the guitar whilst studying at university. Upon graduating, I established a business teaching three days a week in schools across Newcastle Upon Tyne. Alongside this, I interned in a recording studio, where I furthered my skills in music production. After moving back to Cumbria in 2013, I trained as a secondary school teacher at Keswick School. Since then, I have been employed part-time at the school. During the rest of my working week, I have established a local recording studio in Cumbria where I regularly work with local artists - taking their music from an 'ideas stage' to fully arranged songs. My work receives regular radio play. I also perform regularly both as a solo artist and in a function band that I manage.
