Teaching Experience

I have worked as a vocal Educator in various roles across the south and in London for the last 5 years.

Since beginning my vocal journey, I have taught a number of private students from different backgrounds. Irrespective of age, gender, style or influence, I always look to create and tailor lessons for the student's goals and capabilities. I have coached various students with a focus on understanding the instrument from an anatomical and musical perspective.

About Alice W

I trained initially in classical and choral music with Paul Pilott of St. Mary's Church, Alverstoke. From here I then went on to study performing arts and musical theatre at Portsmouth College before training in contemporary vocal practise at the Academy of Contemporary Music. In the academy (and future studies), I learnt from top industry vocal coaches including Chris Johnson, Joshua Alamu, Katie Hector and Rebecca Morton. My most recent professional work and coaching have been with Mark De-Lisser in London's top-end choirs and choir leading roles.

I am a session singer most recently appearing on "VJ Day: The Nation's Tribute" alongside various recorded and live work. I have sung in show teams and as a lead singer across the UK in the wedding and function band circuit as well as onboard cruise ships and overseas. My performing and recording experience continues to expand as I continue to broaden my vocal and industry knowledge to enhance my teaching abilities.
