Aimed at any student who is interested in self-expression using this medium. Techniques include working with charcoal, graphite pencils and ink. Make your mark by translating your thoughts into beautiful images.
This course is designed for anyone with interest in mark-making or with the intention of translating their ideas into image-making. We will be working with graphite pencils, charcoal, ink and more abstract ways of drawing such as collage. This course will provide a relaxed atmosphere to work on various skills that are key to expressing oneself on paper. This course is for young children who are learning how to express themselves or for adults looking to improve their drawing skills. This course is designed for everyone as its pace will be decided in relation to the class members' needs. We will direct and facilitate discussion between students as we will be sharing the work done in each session and give our opinions on the drawings made.
