Course Overview

This short course facilitates A-Level Media Studies as an academic and production-based discipline to learners new to the subject. It also serves as an essential bridge for students who have completed GCSE Media Studies and will be embarking on an A-Level course of study. Core theoretical frameworks will be developed, but production skills will be explored in preparation for NEA (coursework) that comprises 50% of CIE assessment and 30% for Eduqas, AQA and OCR. After this course, students will feel comfortable pursuing media studies during their A-Levels and will understand the basics of different forms of media.
