Course Overview

This intensive A-Level Media Studies revision course consolidates all examined areas of study: media language and representation, media industries, audience and socio-cultural contexts. We will use set products across media forms to explore common exam questions and unseen, comparative texts and questions requiring theoretical input. Typically, each lesson focuses on one media form and ensures all assessed frameworks are revised. For media forms assessed across all areas of the theoretical framework, two revision sessions are recommended, but this can be bespoke to learner needs. Exemplar responses will be used as a stimulus.
