This intensive GCSE Media Studies revision course consolidates all examined areas of study: media language and representation, media industries, audience and socio-cultural contexts. Set products across all media forms will be used to explore common exam questions but also unseen, comparative texts. Typically, each lesson focuses on one media form and ensures all assessed frameworks are revised. For example, for radio and media industries, audience and contexts are revised but for newspapers, all areas of the theoretical framework are learnt. For media forms that are assessed across all areas of the theoretical framework, two revision sessions are recommended, but this can be bespoke to learner needs. Exemplar responses will be used as a stimulus.
