Course Overview



This next bass course will develop students' music theory knowledge from the major foundation scale, before expanding into its many other forms, including the minor scale and the various shapes of the major and minor pentatonic. From this, students will be able to create competent and complex bass-lines, break down many pieces of music from all over the popular music spectrum and begin their journey into bass improvisation. Sheet music (PDF) will be provided in notation and tablature form for students to use as external resources to get the most out of the lessons.
