Course Overview

This programme acts as a complete guide to Key Stage One Arithmetic Foundation on the topic of measurement comparisons. The programme begins looking at length and height. Students will be walked through the two different measurements and the various ways which they are used. Following this, the same will be done for mass and weight and there will be a big emphasis on dispelling the misconception alleging that these two measurements are the same! Next students will look at capacity and volume, before moving onto the final topic of telling the time. On this course, students are encouraged to practice the principles they learn in class for homework in order to receive the maximum benefit from the study plan. Lessons take place in a fun and encouraging environment with a view to creating budding, young mathematicians.
