In this course, students learn how to create detailed and accurate technical drawings to represent their design ideas to industry professional standards using design software. Fashion technical drawings are essential for the development of a fashion collection as pattern cutters and suppliers need them to carry on their jobs. For this course, students do not need to have previous knowledge of Adobe Illustrator as they will learn how to use the software while creating their technical drawings. By the end of the programme, students will be able to create detailed garment flat designs with trimmings (buttons, zippers etc), seams, texture, colour and print.
