Course Overview



This course introduces and develops students’ knowledge of the Science Fiction Literary genre; it explores some popular texts and moves onto teaching young learners the conventions of writing about the future. We explore settings, characters and get plenty of practise writing utopian and dystopian fiction. In this creative writing programme, students not only develop their writing skills, but also practise grammar and learn new advanced vocabulary which can be used in our increasingly technological world. Interactive and discussion driven classes enable students to develop their fluency and receive plenty of feedback to ensure success.
