Course Overview


On this course, students will explore the basics of Italian, following a progressive and relevant scheme of learning, with the aim of having simple, everyday conversations on holiday in Italy. By the end of the course, learners will be able to understand and engage in simple and practical conversations and be capable of introducing themselves, ordering in a restaurant, asking for directions or going shopping. During this course, we will journey through how to say greetings and numbers. Students will learn the alphabet, dates, colours and telling the time. After this course, students will be able to introduce themselves and ask basic questions and will learn their tenses, as well as how to order at a restaurant. Following this course, students should feel comfortable with the basics of the Italian language.
