Course Overview


On this course, students will explore the basics of French, following a progressive and relevant scheme of learning, with the aim of having simple, everyday conversations on holiday in France. By the end of the course, students will be able to understand and engage in simple and practical conversations and be capable of introducing themselves, ordering in a restaurant, asking for directions or going shopping. We will journey through the basics of the French language, beginning with greetings, numbers, the alphabet, colours and move onto identifying family, nationalities, regions and pets. Additionally, this course will teach students the names of places, shops and prepositions. This is a starter course for the French language, and by the end of it, students will have picked up the basic knowledge they need to continue on with their journey through the French language.
