'La Haine.' A manifesto for peace carved in pain. The pervasive and destructive feeling surrounds three friends, trapped in a council estate and in a fate they cannot run away from, in a France crippled by fear and prejudice. This course provides students with valuable insights and skills through an in-depth analysis of the key issues the film explores, whilst sharpening their film analysis skills by becoming familiar with this masterpiece by M.
