'Les Jeux Sont Faits': an atmospheric play with cinematographic features that captures the audience's imagination as much as it puts them face-to-face with existentialist elements for thought. This course provides students with valuable insights and skills through an in-depth analysis of the key issues the play explores, whilst sharpening their literary skills by becoming familiar with the various elements of the existentialist philosophy JP Sartre deploys. Each lesson acts as an opportunity for critical analysis of an aspect of the play, as well as essay-writing practice.
