Course Overview

This is a foundation course for KS3/preparation for secondary science. It covers everything the students need to know to study science at lower secondary level. This course supports students to become better scientists and provides a thorough grounding in all three sciences to enable them to successfully study science towards GCSE. Topics covered in Biology include: plants, food and digestion, the circulatory system, respiration and reproduction and development. In Chemistry students cover: states of matter, elements and compounds, mixtures and material changes. In Physics topics covered include: measuring motion, sound, light and magnetism.
