Course Overview

This course is designed to assist students in writing excellent 'Romeo and Juliet' essays for GCSE English. Shakespeare can often be seen as pretty challenging and can be hard to follow, but the goal of this course is to highlight the universal themes of the play and encourage students to engage with the characters, understanding them more individually. We will ensure students feel totally comfortable discussing the play, which necessitates understanding both the plot and the language. We will identify good 'talking points' on each topic, so students have ideas at their disposal when sitting the exams in the future.
