'Acting for Beginners' is for students of all ages who would like to explore the world of acting and drama. Whether you are keen to build your confidence and public speaking ability, to have fun learning a new skill, or even to become a professional actor, this course is for you. Lessons are tailor-made to suit your needs, goals, and interests, and we will work together to ensure that you get the most out of our time together. This course operates as an educational Pick 'n Mix! Students can delve into a wide range of topics including acting for stage, acting for screen, approaching the text, improvisation, devising, movement, vocal technique, accents, radio, VoiceOver, elocution, Stanislavsky technique, tackling Shakespeare, working with new writing, auditioning, self-taping, industry advice and more. In the first lesson, students will discuss their reasons for choosing this programme, any prior experience (don't worry if you have none), and what they would like to get out of our time together.
