Are you interested in learning more about gender and its relation to the study of politics, human geography and sociology? This programme will offer an in-depth insight into some of the key topic areas concerning the study of gender, including intersectionality, masculinities and emotions. Students will learn key research and analytical skills, useful for any humanities subject, and finish the course with a detailed understanding of the ways in which gender exists in our social world. This course is designed for anyone who wishes to learn more about gender and how it can be analysed, whether that be out of personal interest or as a result of studying politics, human geography, sociology or anthropology. In lessons, students are encouraged to participate as actively as possible and debate is a big part of the time spent in class.
