This course will offer an overview of the key components of social research, including methodologies, sampling, interviews, observation and questionnaires. The programme is vital for anyone interested in social policy, geography, politics, sociology or psychology. The seven lessons almost mirror the process of conducting a research project from starting with methodology planning, sampling, and primary data collection to then collecting secondary data, analysing the data and drawing conclusions.
