This course is designed to reinforce and develop upon the GCSE English language curriculum with the ultimate aim of equipping students with the analytical and expressive tools needed to succeed in the final exam. Students learn how to effectively and fluently discuss how writers create meaning through the analysis of language and structural choices. The course draws upon widely taught subject content but with a particular focus on the individual needs of students, including the exam board they are sitting.
