In this course, students learn how to think about dividing numbers into other numbers. They observe patterns and rules that they can use in future when they encounter more complex topics. Students gauge what the aim of division is, what questions it is relevant to as well as simplifying division when you have multiple steps. Division will primarily involve 2, 5 and 10 but will also touch on harder divisions such as the other natural numbers between 1 and 10.
