I have been teaching English professionally for more than ten years now, both in classrooms and online. I received my bachelor's in English language and literature in 2009, and since then, I have taught English to young adults and adults of different levels and backgrounds.

One of my first teaching experiences was teaching the English language for academic purposes to pre-college students at a renowned international university to prepare them for studies in English-medium institutions. This incredible experience made me fall in love with teaching, as I truly enjoyed helping them go through the language learning process and helping them perfect their language skills.

In 2011, I got my master’s degree in TEFL. Around then, I started teaching at the university level at the department of English language and literature, where I taught various courses as a senior teaching assistant for a little under eight years. I taught practical classes in courses in British literature (18th, 19th, and 20th century), methods of teaching English (glotodidactics, teaching English to preschool, elementary and high school children, new trends in language teaching, and teacher training), contemporary English language (all levels), as well as general English courses at various other departments. My duties involved designing syllabi and creating engaging and effective lesson plans for the courses above. I was dedicated to tracking students' progress through continuous assessment and evaluation and teaching students in groups and independently during office hours. Working with students daily was an amazingly rich and rewarding experience; I got the chance to truly get to know the students, build meaningful relationships with them, and foster and promote curiosity and cultural minds amongst the students I taught.

I'm a passionate reader. I enjoy spending my afternoons reading classic and modern fiction and my nights watching thrillers, mystery and sci-fi movies. I love listening to music and playing on my instruments, but I also like spending time outdoors and enjoying the sounds of nature. Since I see language learning as a lifelong process, I am always on the lookout for interesting literature or TEFL courses and projects to gain new experience and have an opportunity to exchange opinions with learning aficionados.

I enjoy teaching English and meeting new students from different countries with different cultural backgrounds, interests and life stories. I feel I am successful at establishing a good rapport with students through personalised lessons and creating a learning-friendly environment. I believe every student can become a good language user if Educators dedicate themselves to designing lessons that meet their needs, learning style and pace. I have learned through experience that kindness and patience make a significant difference in language learning, which is why I love creating a relaxed atmosphere for my students to express their thoughts and ideas with confidence. Seeing students progress and grow over time truly makes me happy and makes my job fun and rewarding.
