Course Overview



Have you ever attempted a free online workout for beginners that ended up feeling way too advanced for your fitness level? Have you ever experienced joint pain after a workout or muscle soreness that lasted for days? If you have, these experiences say nothing about you and instead point to the inefficiencies of the world of free online workouts. Many virtual classes titled ‘for beginners’ are in fact quite advanced and not really designed with beginners in mind. Without the proper knowledge, these workouts can be a health and safety hazard and even cause long-term damage to your joints that could be discovered later in life. This course equips students with the basic knowledge and tools they need to safely and effectively begin their fitness journey. Students are taught how to prepare for exercise, how to optimise recovery and how to execute workouts in a way that protects joints from long-term damage while enjoying maximum effectiveness. The principles of fitness and different training styles will also be covered so that students can begin to consider what they want their future fit life to look like.
