Course Overview

'Kiffe-Kiffe Demain': an intimate narrative of a young woman struggling to find her place and happiness, as she suffers from terrible exclusion. This course provides students with valuable insights and skills through an in-depth analysis of the key issues the novel explores, whilst sharpening their literary skills, by becoming familiar with the particular genre and language of Faïza Guène. Each lesson serves as an opportunity for critical analysis of an aspect of the novel, as well as essay-writing practice. By the end of this course, students will have developed their critical thinking ability, whilst strengthening their capacity for writing, both valuable and transferable skills.
